Index Cards Basic

This is a basic index cards program. One big advantage is that electronic cards can be any size, and contain any amount of information. Each card is a basic text file. The possible uses for this program are almost endless. Create an ebook. Catalog your CDs. Organize your recipes. Create flash cards as a study tool. Make a How-To manual. Write a play. Create a Web Site file, where each card has the web site URL, user name, passwords, support URLs and phone numbers, email addresses, and anything else pertinent to that web site.

You actually receive two programs, the writer to create the files, and a reader to read the files. I also have a version which uses RTF files instead of text files, and therefore supports font and paragraph formatting. I have included the RTF reader as well. I have included Titus Andronicus, a play by Shakespeare, in both formats so you can compare the full version with the basic version. You are encouraged to use the basic version, and if you like it, check out the full version, and if you want the additional functionality you can click to go to the Index Cards Full Version.

DiskUsage

DiskUsage is a program which recursively reads thru directories on a hard drive to accurately show disk usage. This is useful to determine what is needed to back up the data. It is also handy to find log files and other temporary files which need to be deleted to free up space. When the program starts up you must first pick which drive to analyze. BioRhythms

Ever wondered why some days you have "Game" and some days you do not? This program may help to provide an explanation. As usual you get a help file to tell you how to run the program, but in this case it also talks about the theory of BioRhythms and how to interpret the data presented. Amazed

Amazed is a solitare puzzle game where one attempts to navigate a maze generated by the computer. At the top of the window is a status line showing the position and direction. The program also has an automatic mapping feature, and one can switch views to see what one has uncovered so far.

One can play the game with either the keyboard or the mouse or a combination of the two. One can adjust the wall spacing, which changes the maze size, which changes the game's difficulty. One can also adjust the window size in the initialization file, which changes the maze size, which changes the game's difficulty.
